Your payment secures your slot. Once your slot is booked, payment must be received in full within 24 hours, a reminder will be sent and then your slot will be released for rebooking.

Photoshoots will go ahead come rain or shine. It is Wigan, please check the forecast and come prepared - wellies and brollies etc.

If you are late, this time will be deducted from your 15 minutes. If you miss your slot, unfortunately there will not be the time to catch up so please arrive in plenty time. The missed slot cannot be transferred to another date.

Ashfield House

Ashfield House

Social distancing

Please wait at the main gates for your slot time. This is to minimise the number of people passing and coming into contact with each other.

Do not attend with more than 5 people. Government guidance says no more than 6 people can meet outdoors. (I am the 6th person!)

Ashfield House

Parking

Access to Ashfield House can be gained from two entrances. Ashfield House Car Parks will be closed. See details below about parking

If you access Ashfield from the park entrance (its a long driveway with white fences either side and a park to the right), please park on the PARK CAR PARK (sorry for the over use of the word park there!)

If you access the house via Ashfield Park Drive, enter the site and park as close to the side of the building (or across the white gates) as possible - please be mindful of residents opposite and do not block driveways.

FAQ

What should we wear?

Whatever you like! Some families like to stick to a few colours so it looks more coordinated, others like to dress how they normally would to reflect them as a family. Style it how you prefer.

If the weather isn’t on our side, do not stress, wellies and umbrellas, raincoats and hats can make for awesome shots too. Be mindful the shoot is outdoor in a garden, so choose footwear wisely.

If babies are sitting but not standing, it’s a good idea to bring a blanket too. Again, this can be a colour of your choice but often more neutral colours work best and aren’t as distracting.

What if my children don’t perform?

We all have those parenting moments when we have 15 minutes for our children to smile and look happy and they decide to do the complete opposite. I am super laid back and a Mummy myself so please don’t stress. Distraction I find is the best method. I love capturing natural interaction between families so the more chatty and involved you are with each other the better. Ignore me, play games like I spy, give tickles - and bribery is always a winner! But don’t stress if they don’t say ‘cheese’ on cue.

Are shoots suitable for babies?

Whilst shoots are suitable for all ages, be mindful of what you are expecting. A waterproof picnic blanket or one that can be easily washed maybe a good option for babies who are sitting independently. If babies are not yet sitting, it is best to only book if you intend to have photos as a family where an adult can hold them.

How do I receive my photos?

You will receive your photos via a Dropbox folder. From here you can download and use your images and use them however you like.

If I miss my slot, can I reschedule or get a refund?

Unfortunately, no. These sessions are non-refundable and any no-shows would not be able to be rescheduled for an alternative date. If you cannot make your mini shoot, advanced notice would be appreciated - just drop me a message on a social media page. All slot times are found below the Covid-19 information.

Can I have a refund if I cancel DUE TO COVID?

Due to the dynamic situation of the current pandemic, I understand that people’s situations can change quickly. Whilst mini shoots have always had a no-refund policy, there will be the following exceptions to this rule:

  • If you or a member of your household are LEGALLY required to self-isolate. Proof of this would be required, for example: a screenshot of the NHS Tracing text that clearly states your name and the date your isolation-period ends.

  • If you live in an area of local lockdown that prevents you from leaving your county. Again proof of address would be required.

  • If you or a member of your party have tested positive for COVID:19 - please provide proof.

  • If you are currently awaiting a COVID:19 test result. The slot will be held until the result is returned.

    • The following terms will stand in the case where results are received prior to the mini shoot:

      • If the result is negative but you choose not to attend, no refund will be issued. No alternative date will be offered and no deduction on future bookings will be offered.

      • If the result is positive and proof is provided, a refund will be given.

    • The following terms will stand in the case where results are not received prior to the mini shoot:

      • A refund will be issued once proof of your test result has been received. The result in this case will not effect the refund.

ANY OTHER CANCELLATION REASON OTHER THAN THE ABOVE WILL COME UNDER THE NO-REFUND POLICY.

COVID-19 Declaraton Agreement

  • Clients will be asked to confirm below that they do not currently, and up to and including their shoot date, have any symptoms of Covid-19 (namely a fever, a new, continuous cough or a loss or change to their sense of taste or smell) and that they have not experienced any such symptoms in the last 14 days. If the person visiting our premises or someone in their household or support bubble has any Covid-19 symptoms or has recently tested positive for Covid-19 or if they have been in recent contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 or if they have returned from a high risk country within the last 14 days, they will be asked not to attend the shoot.

  • Clients will be asked to confirm if they or someone they live with is extremely clinically vulnerable (i.e. if they or someone they live with were shielding before 1 August 2020). If so, we strongly recommend that they do not attend the photoshoot. We will also mention to clients that if they are at higher risk (e.g. due to an underlying condition) then they should also consider whether to attend the photoshoot. All decisions to attend in these circumstances will be at the clients’ own risk.

  • In accordance with Government guidance:

    • No more than 5 people are to attend unless you all live together (or are in the same support bubble)

    • Avoid social interaction with anyone outside the group you are with, even if you see other people you know

    • Ensure that at least one person in your group provides their contact details to the organiser so that you can be contacted if needed by the NHS Test and Trace programme. Checking in using the official NHS QR code is a quick and easy alternative - a QR code will be provided by Robyn.

  • If clients cancel due to being legally required to self-isolate, proof must be provided before refunds will be offered. For local lockdowns where clients are legally not to leave the county, proof of address must be provided.
